Istria Dry Stone is a cladding system performed without grouting the space between the stones. Single stones are obtained from the limestone slate and therefore their upper and lower surfaces are naturally flat, which is perfect for performing  dry-stone walls, because it does not require any other treatment of the surfaces. Hew treatment needs to be performed on the vertical surfaces to obtain uniform thickness of the space between the stones. Finished cladding gives a light cream colour to the wall. The colour tones vary from stone to stonewhich gives a special charm to the final cladding.

Argumentation:

The advantage of dry-stone performing with stone cladding over the classic masonry stone wall is also in the frost resistance. Used waterproof adhesive are frost resistant. The system does not allow water leakage on the back side of the stones, which would be fatal in the case of low temperatures.
